LINE IN THE SAND
Namesake: song by Motorhead
Appearance: A bulky humanoid stand with gray skin marked with chalky white colored, horizontal and vertical lines all over its body. It has a skull-shaped head with no pupils (though its eye sockets give a gentle white glow) and it has no lower jaw. It's knuckles are also shaped like skulls.
Power: A
Speed: C
Range: E (attack range depends on size of line)
Precision: A
Staying: B
Learning: A
Abilities:
- Line Manipulation: In addition to having immense strength on its own, LINE IN THE SAND's punches are capable of “activating” lines and causing them to project outward as pure force. For example, if the stand “activated” the line between two sidewalk slabs, the mortar between the slabs would project a force outward– then vanish, leaving a single slab of concrete whose dividing “line” has disappeared.
The stand cannot activate a line made by the user. The longer and straighter a line is, the more powerful the projected force. Activating a less tangible line, such as the “outline” of an object, can have bizarre effects such as merging the object with whatever it was set upon, as the boundary between them has been erased.
Notes: The stand is extremely lethal in both close-quarters and ranged combat, as it is capable of transforming an entire area into a maelstrom of invisible, cutting blades. The best counter is to destroy lines in the area.
